Seaweed is one of the most sustainable of all nature’s crops. Algae do not compete or displace land use for food or supplement production, so the two particular seaweeds that we use to provide our active ingredients have a huge potential to contribute to the security of our raw ingredients supply.
It’s also important to note that the ocean is the world’s largest carbon sink, powered predominantly by algae which filters nutrients from the water and reduces acidification, contributing significantly to the mitigation of climate change.

Glass has been chosen as the primary packaging element for the SEABODY range. Glass is a traditional material; which unlike plastic is infinitely recyclable. We use violetglass which has unique characteristics that filter out damaging rays of the visible light spectrum and allow portions of the UVA and infrared light waves in, keeping the products inside fresher for longer.
Our individual product boxes are sourced from a local Irish business who are also passionate about sustainability. as we are. They are FSC Certified and dedicated to respecting the chain of custody that ensures forestry protection.
SEABODY e-commerce packaging is intentionally minimal and compact to exclude the need for excess materials while ensuring it gets to you safely. Made from recycled materials, all elements used are plastic free, biodegradable, recyclable and/or reusable. Our packaging mission is to use recycled and infinitely recyclable materials as much as possible across our entire brand offering.
